New Kent Girls Softball League has the following divisions: 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u, and 16u. We welcome players ages 4-16.

Included in the registration fee is a game day jersey, knee high game day socks, umpire fees, and insurance.

Parents, please provide the following for your player:  batting helmet with facemask, fielding facemask, bat, fielding glove, belt, softball pants for practice and games (game pants color to be decided by the team), cleats, and bat bag.

Optional gear: batting gloves, catcher's gear, chest protector for pitchers, sunglasses

New Kent Girls' Softball League is dedicated to developing and operating a program for youth girls, and we seek to instill in participants good sportsmanship, cooperation, team spirit, and physical skills involved to play the sport of softball.

As a private, non-profit organization, we are always looking for Sponsors to support the Girls of NKGSL! Find out how you can help them by clicking the blue tab below!

NKGSL is always looking for volunteers to help run the League! This includes volunteering to help in the concession stand and helping coach the teams. Anyone over the age of 13 can help us out! This is a great way to be even more involved with NKGSL and can also be used as volunteer hours if needed for some teenagers, courses, etc.

From concession stand decisions to jersey options to field management, we strive to continue to make the best decisions for the Girls and the League and welcome any and all to attend our monthly meetings which are normally held on the first Friday of the month at Hawkins Field 1.
