Practices will start the in March. Stay tuned to hear from your coach about practice schedule.

Season lasts about until mid June. There is usually one game on a weeknight, and/or a double header on Saturday's. Games can be played at Hawkins Field in Woodhaven, West Point, Glen Allen, Sandston, and Rockville.

Games will start up June 20th  thru August 4, 2020. Games will be played throughout the week/weekend to limit social gatherings.

Schedule will be out soon. 

Based on Governor Northam's press conference today, the board will have to reevaluate the plans for the 2020 Spring Softball Season.

After much consideration with the other leagues of ODGSL regarding the 2020 Spring Season, we have decided the following:

Plan A –   Should there be no further extension of the Current Social Distancing “Rules” and there is No Change to All-Stars Schedule, we would,

*Start team practices on 4/25;

• Start games on 5/11;
• See how many games we can get scheduled through 6/17. Given still having Memorial Day weekend off, this would likely be somewhere around 9-10 games per team (everyone should expect doubleheaders on Saturdays)
• Have an EOS tournament weekend of 6/20
• Provide additional flexibility on “borrowing players” to have full rosters (maxed at # of player positions in the field). The reason we would suggest this is that there may be losing players due to the shift in the season’s schedule. 

Plan B– Same as Plan A except Babe Ruth League would shift the All-Star tournament trail

*Same as Plan A with a possible extension of the season to get the original 12 games played for the season.

Regarding the 2020 Spring Fundraiser:

*Money is due on April 15, 2020, Audra will be at the field in the concession on the evening of April 15th from 6pm to 7pm, so please make sure you make arrangements to turn the raffle ticket money to be turned in that day.

*We will be holding the Raffle drawing on Saturday, April 18th, and all winners will be contacted on that day after the drawing.

        We thank everyone for the patients and understanding during this troubling time, and we look forward to having everyone back on the ball fields and healthy as soon as we possibly can.
